悪役しかやったことのない俺たちが、真剣に歌とダンスをやった。
収録が夜中になっても、横澤さんは、にこにこと
一緒につきあって、観ていて下さって。
違う早朝の番組に出た時も、朝の６時頃なのに、
横澤さんが顔を出して下さって！
番組と出演者を大事にする方だなあ、と感激した。

「ひょうきん族なんかやってたら、俳優としてダメになります」と
真剣に忠告してくれた監督もいたけれど、
俺は、その時は、横澤さんを信じてみようと思ったんだ。
こんなことでつぶれるような悪役をやって来ていない、
と、考えていた。"
